Family
IntroductionThey often have situations where they are abused, neglected and hurt, both emotionally and physically. There is a strange combination of being self aware and having self-confidence and on the other hand letting themselves being abused.
They often start with a good family that breaks down; one of the parents die or depart after a divorce. Then they feel neglected and unloved. Or one of the parents becomes abusive, violent, beating and domineering. They have strong problems to maintain their self-respect and independence in those situations. There is a mixture of feeling like they belong to the group at one hand and feeling unappreciated and disrespected on the other hand. It feels like a violation of their integrity.
