TaxonomyIn the Apg3 classification the families Polemoniaceae and Fouqueriacea are included in a broad Order Ericales. That Order is a combination of formerly separate Orders like Theales, Ericales, Primulales, Ebenales and other families.
In the Plant theory Ericales is upgraded to the level of Subclass and named Ericidae. The old Orders like Polemoniales are recognised as Orders in Ericidae. Polemoniales is placed in Phase 2. The placement in Subphases is tentative, as only Polemoniaceae are a bit known in homeopathy. Maybe Polemoniaceae has to be split in several Families.
