ZoologyCubozoa are cnidarian invertebrates. They have cube-shaped medusae. Some species produce extremely potent venom: Chironex fleckeri, Carukia barnesi, Malo kingi. Stings from these and a few other species in the class are extremely painful and can be fatal to humans.
