IntroductionThe situation is that of a man who has his life in complete order but his wife is gone, divorced and passed away and a new wife enters his life but he will not change anything in his life, his house and surroundings. HE expects his new wife to adapt to his situation, his Biedermaier furniture and old habits. In the beginning she can fight the situation but gives up after a while, she resigns. Her wishes are counteracted with remarks like “life is not a wish concert”.
