IntroductionThe caring quality of the Berberidaceae is not found directly in our Materia Medica. But it is is clear in the case of Hanson (recorder 1897) of a talkative woman worried about some trifling ailment of her husband. One can see this very well in the cases that follow.
The Stage 16 is obvious from the very offensive qualities of Podophyllum. The outcast quality of Stage 16 is outstanding in the cases that follow.
They feel that they have neglected their children.
They feel that their children are outcasts.
They feel that they are an outcast who is not cared for.
They feel that their parents are neglected.
MindTalkative woman worried about some trifling ailment of her husband.
Delusion heart disease, death, incurable disease of liver or heart; dying.
Depression: imagines he is going to die, or be very ill. Disgust for life.

Rectum: diarrhoea, yellow, white, grey, green, offensive, putrid, copious, watery, foamy, soapy, alternating constipation; ineffectual straining; dysentery; worms; flatus; anus prolapsed, inflammation; haemorrhoids.
Urinary: bedwetting.
Male: prostatitis.
Female: dysmenorrhoea; amenorrhoea; ovary disorders, tumour, pain extending thigh; uterus, prolapsed; pregnancy vomiting, > lying on stomach, + swelling of labia.
Limbs: sciatica; legs numb < before menses; scapula pain; cramps calve < diarrhoea, < pregnancy.
Skin: yellow; urticaria; pustules.
