They have a difficult to let children leave home. They fear to loose all contact with children relatives and friends. They fear to be alone. They fear to be doomed as they have done something stupid so that people won’t like them anymore and leave them.
In their youth they often had little contact with their parents. They got few compliments. On the other hand their parents can limit them or push them too much to keep them helping. It can limit them in getting their own relationship and family.
