BotanyHerb; terrestrial; leafless, mycotrophic.
Stem: fleshy, upright.
Flowers: small to medium-sized; resupinate; narrow sepals and petals, free from each other and similar in length; cup-shaped; dorsal sepal curving forwards; labellum is larger than the sepals and petals, boat-shaped, divided into two main sections, an upper epichile, ttached to the base of the column and lower hypochile, often with two lobes and turned downwards.
