Introduction
The theme is that of a rigid society, where everything is fixed, laid out and unchangeable. But there is a drive to break out of the system, to overcome the limitations.
They are often from higher social classes, feeling special and having the right to being treated with respect. They feel they have to preserve the culture and that without them society will deteriorate and become like a wilderness. They often have a higher position, jobs like lawyer, judge, doctor, teacher, professor, manager and mayor. As a child they are often treated as special, as a prince or princess.
Or they are in a minor position in society. They do not like their position, sometimes fight it, sometimes see it as fixed, sometimes try to escape it.
