Provings

“Curiosity is the father of discovery“

Introduction
Provings have been the first and main source for remedy pictures from the beginning of homeopathy. They are very useful, especially in case of unknown remedies and families.

Proving goal
Provings are done to get a start of the remedy picture and to be able to prescribe them. It is like a discovery journey into unknown territories. One has to have a glimpse of a remedy in order to be able to develop the remedy picture.

There are many proving methods:
Bath proving
Classical proving
Dream proving
Meditation proving
Picture proving
Sense proving
Trituration proving

Theory
The theory of provings clarifies the advantages and disadvantages of the different proving methods. The proving qualities become clear.

Proving phases
A proving is a process in which the remedy picture can unfold and discovered. In this process one can discern basically 3 phases.
